April Hargett – Administrator
April (pictured above left) was raised in New England and Florida (West Palm Beach area). After graduating from Eckerd College (St. Petersburg) she spent 17 years teaching English to Japanese students in Japan. She moved to Vero Beach in 1992. April was a volunteer driver for the Volunteer Ambulance Squad for four years before becoming administrator in 1997. In addition to her duties at the Squad, April also sings in the Vero Beach Choral Society. She and her husband, Dan, have one daughter.
Carol Rowell-Johnson – Administrative Assistant
Carol (pictured above right) was born and raised in the great state of Maine. She lived and worked in New York City for 6 years before moving to Charlotte, NC. Continuing her migration down the east coast she has resided in Vero Beach since 1998. During the last 16 years she has been employed as a certified personal trainer, restaurant manager and law office administrator. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, photography, kayaking and bicycling.
