Volunteer Ambulance Squad Wins National Award
In March, 2016 the Squad was notified that it had been awarded The Star Award for Innovation, by the National Volunteer Transportation Center. The purpose of the award is to provide assistance and support to volunteer transportation programs across America. More than 150 volunteer organizations nationwide submitted applications and IRCVAS was one of 4 in its category to receive an award of $2,500, presented by Toyota. The formal recognition of the winners took place at the Community Transportation Association of America EXPO in Portland, Oregon, in May.

VOLUNTEER HOW YOU CAN HELP DONATE
Nearly all work carried out by the squad is done by volunteers. We have a number of rewarding volunteer opportunities available.
Volunteer Opportunities
The Squad's largest burden is
its day to day operating cost. Please consider funding one of our many operating expenses.
How To Help
We are able to pay our operating expense through the generosity of Individuals, Corporations and Foundations in Indian River County. Donate
